VH1’s on-going series, The Greatest put together a list of the “100 Greatest Women in Music”, focusing on the last twenty years of music history.
This is a nice, diverse list of talented and successful women, and it will make a great survivor! As usual, I'll split the songs into 10 groups of 10, mostly because there may be some artists whose songs are not as known. To make things "fair", YOU will get to decide which songs compete instead of charts or other stats. Below you can find the full list of artists (or their bands if the artist doesn't have a significant solo career) - you will have to save four and then choose the song that represents them. The only condition, as expected, is that the song hasn't previously been in an SoS. That means no We Belong Togethers, Hung Ups, Crazy in Loves and the like.
This list is in alphabetical order, but when the songs are eliminated, I'll post the artist's rank in the article for comparison.
