In Japan,Overseas musicians' singles cannot be sold compared with albums. However, the sales of the Madonna's single are special.
I think it's not "Erotica-Special Edition", it should be "Evita-Special Edition", isn't it? Thanks.

Thank you very much Mario. But I'm disappointed, I've read many times Scorpions were very populars in Japan, and I have seen a Scorpions video with a gold award in 1979, and then...only 20.000 copies sold of "Virgin killer"...I don't understand. And the last where are the singles? Still loving you, Wind of change, Send me an angel...

Mario, do you have certifications in Japan? Do you have charts, sales and certifications of other countries? Thanks.

In Japan, groups, such as Iron Maiden, Scorpions, AC/DC and Def Leppard had big popularity about 20 years ago.
Although I was a high school student those days, I remember that the photograph of these groups was carried by many music magazines.
However, it was not necessarily connected with sales.
Def Leppard's Pyromania is recording only the sales of 8,000 copies!

Although they released many singles in Japan, they do not go into chart altogether.

It's only sales data of Oricon which I have.

Thanks Mario. Well, about Scorpions singles I'm disappointed too, because for example "Wind of change" was number 1 around the world, but...nothing in Japan...I'm sad
