Wouldn't "sophomore" indicate their second album..? Uh, so that'd be 'From Under The Cork Tree'.

This new one's their third album.
This post is highly unlikely to be serious. Please treat it accordingly. Unless it's music-related, in which case I'm damn well right.

Pete Wentz has this to say about said new album...

The dick-waving prat wrote:I hate hearing bands talk about their new records before I hear them. Inevitably all bands trash their old songs, which we love, and insist they have come up with an entirely new formula. Then you hear the record and it sounds basically, for all intents and purposes, exactly like the band has always sounded. We're not the kind of band that is just gonna throw you in a cold pool with all of your clothes on just to get the party started — at least we wouldn't in this particular metaphor.
...which, basically, means that it's gonna sound exaaaactly the same as the last one. Which is alright, if you like that kinda thing. But probably a bit annoying if you're sick to death of them. Up to you really.

When I think of Fall Out Boy I think of being half asleep in a field. Er, you know...

I didn't buy the second album so I doubt I'll bother with this.

The title is a bit :-?

Pete Wentz is wearing more make-up than me.
Deadline? What deadline?

especially when you're such a dull band.

Album track... right-click, save as:

CLICKEH.

I'm on my parents' computer so I can't download it at the moment... I'll give my verdict later, i.e. when I can be bothered to plug my laptop in and download it myself.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and...

YES. That might actually be the best thing they've ever done. I'd probably have to listen to it on a good stereo to judge properly (these speakers are rubbish) but it sounds bloody good.

I love the verses but the chorus turns it into just another Fall Out Boy song... :(

This is currently number 2 on UK iTunes (physical single is released next week).

Personally, I think this starts off ok but then gets progressively worse... :-?
