I have a question regarding the compilation chart in France.

Its big like in the UK ?

New sets by Dylan Bee Gees are high on the charts.

I thought Mick Jagger was going to be bigger bearing in ming the fan following of the Stones in France.

Thanks
Check the 'Format Long' chart (= long format = comprehensive chart).
In this chart, Greetest is #31, with 5 compilation and 1 soundtrack ahead, with the same chart rules as it UK, Greetest should have been #25 in the main chart.

this album is a "flop" also before the release..
it never could repeat the success of BTB...was obvious..
bit i think if the album will sold over 5m it will not a "flop".
5 million???? are u joking? :D
i would say maximum 2 million :)
1) i write "IF" so is possible but not sure.
2) the album will sold for sure more than 2m..i think that after xmas sales will be already over 2m.
3) i think that will outsold britney.

this shows how chart positions isn't always equivalent at the "success".
"You're beautiful" was really bigger than "1973".

You're beautiful was not released at the same time everywhere, its points were spread into a very long period : 29 weeks in the top 5, 37 weeks top 10, 46 weeks top 20...

It's doing pretty well in France as well. Has it passed the 50k mark there? Did it get any certifications?

And Sweden and Belgium lowered their gold/platinum levels...

It sold 69k in France, but certifications are unknown. I'm sure that it should be close/over 2xPlatinum in Switzerland and at least Platinum in UK if they were updated.

Thank you zago, so it's close to gold. How can we know if an album is certified in italy? Only magazine articles or labels' press releases?

The trajectory of this album is really strange at the moment. After a very low first week it is holding up quite well in many countries (France, Switzerland, Australia, Germany, Austria, Netherland etc...) and dropping fast in others (Sweden, UK, USA). Countries are reacting in very different ways to '1973'.
