I think the last one should be counted as Re-entry.
ChartFreaky has confirmed Beat It and Billie Jean are the original versions, not the 2008 versions, so these should be classed as re-entries as well.
But how does he know which version it is? I think even Media Control doesn't know it.

Musikwoche says these are the original ones, chartradio (which belongs to Media Control) played the new versions.

Its a bit illogical - both Beat It and Billie Jean are new versions, Thiller is not....

I have no idea what versions they are. Maybe a look at the various download shops charts can give us some clue?

Thriller should be counted as a Re-Entry on every chart in the whole wide world.
The Americans did it right by listing it on the Catalog Chart.

The album was released at the end of 1982 and the latest issue is a re-release of the original bolstered with some bonuses.

No matter how Jacko or his record company wants consumers to think about the project: "Thriller 25th anniversary edition" is just a re-release of the original !!

I don't think so. I think it's all the old versions. Billie Jean on #91 and Thriller on #92. Seems as if the same people downloaded both songs in their original version.

But it could be that downloads of the original versions and the remixes are combined - so that it means: "Billie Jean" at #91 means all Billie Jean-versions, that were downloaded in that week, regardless if it were the old or new ones. They chart as ONE song.

Despite some apparent recent keenness of the compilers to split what seems like one hit into two (or more), I was wondering if this might be what had happened too.

Am I right in thinking there is NO new version of "Thriller", so at least this one has to be a re-entry of the original hit from the 1980s, and of a couple of years ago?

You are correct, there is no new version of Thriller, so this one is definitely a re-entry.

As you could see the duet with "Kanye West" and "Fergie" so they all were new versions.

N-Joy Radio cleared it up today. IT IS the old album and is treated as such in the industry. Modify the post!

1. Billie Jean and Beat It Re-Entry? I don't think so, or?

2. On what position is Ohne Bo by Das Bo in the Trendcharts?

I read that Billie Jean and Beat It charted with the new versions (Fergie & Kanye West).

This will be a new-entry.

For what it's worth: viva.tv mentions "(Dual disc)" behind the Billy Jean title and also links the 'kaufen' button to the dual disc versions of both Beat It and Billy Jean at amazon.de

In fact this is only a remix of the original song without a physical release, so why shouldn't it be counted together with the original version? "Thriller" even re-entered the chart without a new remix available.

if those jacko songs were released as cd singles or maxi both the 2008 remix plus the original old version would be together in one disc...
