Credo abbiano venduto bene in Europa, all'epoca.

I'm here :)

I'm a bit busy today and I have to work on A-Ha first, but I will work on Clash before the end of the week! I already checked their stats several times, and I warn you that figures will not be "100% accurate", we haven't much data about them, so it is always hard to estimate, especialy for acts which started selling so many years ago. I will try to do my best

Thank you, MJD, I thought they had sold slightly more...

Just a question: what other acts are planning to include for the future?. Luis Miguel would be great, as Yes. :)

The Clash is one of the hardest act I ever estimated, with the like Marvin Gaye. Indeed, almost all their sales are catalog sales. In Germany, [b]none/b] of their albums (studio & compilations included) has ever charted, none of them has ever been certified, I like you imagine how easy it is to estimate sales in this country (yes, obviously I'm ironic!).
The same or close is true in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Netherland, Austria, South America... Let say, almost everywhere. Figures from France, UK, US are the most safe, since we already have much more info in those countries.

London Calling is easily the best selling album of The Clash almost everywhere except in the US. It performed very poorly when released yet, not charting in most countries. It was a massive seller only in Scandinavia when first released.

Since we lack so many informations, estimates are necessarly in the low side.

I was expecting more too, very low sales for such a classic act :o

I will work now on Ramazzotti and Zucchero (a query from Zago :)), then yes why not adding Luis Miguel and Yes.
I should add the main omission since long too, Frank Sinatra, but I still don't get the courage to face this work
