Ok, lets talk about "The Resistance" sales.

Obvious n.1 in UK (70k in first day, possible a 200k debut), and in a lot of other countries like France and Italy with good sales.

A Music Week report stated, on 23rd mrarch 2008 (HAARP debut at no.2):

"After consecutive number one albums with 2003’s Absolution and 2006’s Black Holes & Revelations, Muse debut at number two with their live set HAARP, which sold 45,276 copies last week. Absolution is the band’s biggest selling CD but will be overtaken this week by Black Holes & Revelations, which has thus far sold 710,072 copies".

So not only Black Holes outsold Absolution, but it was able to sell more than 120K copies in only one year and a half. They're long sellers!

Meanwhile, Muse are Number One in the UK album chart, with 'The Resistance' clocking up the biggest first week sales so far this year.
