I agree with all of that, and the other praise in this thread.

She has released seven excellent singles, in my view - all in my top 1000 of all time, and with some impressive runs in my monthly chart:

Code: Select all
Rank Title...................................Artist HP MC Annually
------------------------------------------------------------------
132 JUST AROUND THE HILL Sash featuring Tina Cousins 1 15 002/2000
167 PRAY................................Tina Cousins 1 13 003/1998
197 KILLING TIME........................Tina Cousins 1 12 003/1997
428 MYSTERIOUS TIMES.....Sash featuring Tina Cousins 3 10 005/1998
498 WONDERFUL LIFE......................Tina Cousins 2  9 012/2005
792 FOREVER.............................Tina Cousins 3  5 016/1999
847 ANGEL...............................Tina Cousins 3  8 025/1997

"Pray" and "Killing Time" did extremely well to reach the top 20 in the UK, as neither were stocked by Woolworths - and towards the end of the last decade very few singles they didn't sell could ever get as high as this.

My votes are helping to keep her in a good position - and I'm about to place a few more now!

Hmmmm - I'd say that's more a rule of "if you post dance retro stuff in the dance forum, it won't be moved here" whereas maybe in some of the other genres we'd be more inclined to move it to "Retro".

I don't want to see loads of old topics cluttering the dance forum. Puts me off going in there. I don't see why they can't go in here. The rock ones go in here- even though that forum isn't hugely active.

I like Tina - she has stood the test of time more than most dance vocalists.
