Released: 11th September 2006.
The woman who single-handedly chewed up the Black Eyed Peas' credibility and spat it out emerges with her debut solo effort. This single is further proof of why the Black Eyed Peas are better off without her, but it also shows what happens when good songs are given to bad artists. "London Bridge" would be far more suited to Gwen Stefani, and if Gwen had recorded it, I'm sure I'd be giving it a higher score.
Fergie's gone solo, but is this song any different to what she's done with the Black Eyed Peas? Not at all. This is another infectious hip-hop song that'll stick in your head but you'll soon forget. It has poor lyrics, full of slang and mocking. I don't quite get it to be honest, and the video doesn't impress much either. After this, who knows, "God Save The Queen"?
