Is this Ja Rule - or Barry White? The gravelly-voiced rapper tries to sing on this track as well as rap, and ends up sounding like a poor Barry White impersonator - not that that's a bad thing. It's an incredibly funky hit, much better than his previous work and his current J-Lo collaboration, but it might struggle in the chart.

The first single from the rapper's new album borrows the chorus of Stevie Wonder's 1982 hit "Do I Do", this time sung by Case. After the fantastic tracks from his "Rule 3:36" album like "Between Me & You" and "Put It On Me", this party tune doesn't have the same universal appeal. If anything, Ja's more likely to get the success he deserves in the UK with his J-Lo collaboration, also out this week.
