Released: 12th November 2001.

Is it possible to review this single without mentioning Mis-Teeq? Unfortunately, no. Not that Ladies First sound much like Mis-Teeq; their debut release treads the poppier end of UK garage, much more like Sweet Female Attitude. Their vocals also aren't as polished as those of Mis-Teeq, but don't let that put you off - this is an immensely catchy track that will have you both singing and dancing along.

Following in the footsteps of female garage trio Mis-Teeq come the first in what will probably be a long line of women hoping to duplicate their success with a similar formula. "Messin'" has been tipped to be a hit, and although it's possibly less commercial than efforts from Mis-Teeq, the result seems rather bland both in terms of production and vocals.
