Alcazar - Crying At The DiscotequeNow this is a great song. A hit all over Europe, Swedish pop makes a great return, continuing where A*Teens left off earlier this year. There's the disco beat taken from some 1970s song, there's the clanging piano typical of ABBA, there are inane lyrics about Richard Gere's tie, and there's a French style dance production. It's catchy. You know you love it. Buy it.

Swedish band Alcazar have been a fixture in the upper echelons of charts all over Europe for some time now with this retro-style disco workout, and deservedly so. Complete with a low-budget, trashy video, and the addition of some new mixes for the UK market, this should easily launch the group into the UK Top 20.
