Darren Hayes - InsatiableThe vocalist from Savage Garden releases a predictable debut solo single that could easily have come from his former band. "Insatiable" is a ballad that makes full use of those distinctive high pitched vocals, and is sure to entice old fans to his forthcoming debut album. This track is very MOR and is directed squarely at the ladies.

After a string of great pop tunes by Australian duo Savage Garden, hopes for Darren's solo career are high. However, if this is typical of what is to come, then it's a terrible shame. Enrique, Will and Gareth will all be among the big sellers of the year with their ballads. However, Darren's is seriously lacking a tune and is rather painfully high. This is nowhere near Savage Garden standard, and I 'truly, madly, deeply' hope that he can come up with something better.
