I have to admit I've never been a huge fan of Celine Dion, but this new offering is actually an uplifting song that will no doubt be a hit single for her. The song is very much more commercial and appealing to a more mainstream market. It seems almost a shame that Celine will be doing Vegas shows for the coming three years, as this is one of the best singles to date off one of her best albums to date, "A New Day Has Come".

The second release from "A New Day Has Come" is much more upbeat and accessible than the title track. Celine sings well, but her full potential is not realised on this particular song. "I'm Alive" is reasonably likeable but hardly revolutionary, and the lyrics lack the substance that some of her previous songs have delivered. Hence it would be lucky if this one makes the Top 10.
