The third single from the "Blown Away" parent album is the dramatic, made-for-TV tale "Two Black Cadillacs". The song is perhaps Carrie's darkest release yet, narrating the story of a man murdered by his wife and sweetheart after they uncovered his two-timing ways. They then attend the funeral in, as the song is fittingly titled, two black cadillacs.
The lyrics are so haunting ("And the preacher said he was a good man, and his brother said he was a good friend, but the women in the two black veils didn't bother to cry") and Carrie's delivery so capably brings the words to life. The provocative message is sure to make quite the impression on listeners and country radio, as they have done countless times in the past with Carrie's releases, is sure to eat this one up. And for anyone that's ever been cheated on, this tune provides an alluring fantasy to enact your sweet, sweet revenge.
