Released: 22nd October 2015.
After a three-year hiatus, Adele returns with powerhouse ballad "Hello", which serves as the lead single off her upcoming third studio album '25'.
Reminiscent of '21''s signature sound, "Hello" is far from an unfamiliar sound from her, unless you have been living under a rock for the past few years. The song's sound revolves around a piano driven melody with minimalist drum percussion that gets more emphasized as the song progresses, especially after the bridge. Lyrically, it's a throwback to a past relationship, where for once, Adele admits she has done someone else wrong and not the other way around, and suffered from it the subsequent sense of loss and regret. The vocals are, once again, exemplary, sending the already beautiful ballad to stratospheric heights, hence the simple instrumentation.
Despite the song's recent release, it's definitely one of the biggest comebacks of this year, breaking record after record. All in all, what's left to say is: Adele is back!
