After releasing three mixtapes in just over 18 months, Bellion's major debut album, 'The Human Condition', finally arrives. Featuring behind the scenes as a writer for "Love the Way You Lie" (Eminem and Rihanna) and a composer for "Trumpets" (Jason Derulo), Bellion brings those same songwriting and composition skills to his solo material to deliver one of the best debut albums of the year.
Lyrically, the album touches on a broad list of topics, including: love, pain, loneliness, and insanity. The production is essentially comprised of drums, synths, pianos, manipulated vocals, which seems standard enough right? Wrong! Bullion makes all of this quite complex, perhaps most evident on "80's Films", and delivers a quality vocal performance on "Maybe IDK". "All Time Low" is right up there with the album's highlight tracks. This record makes it really hard to pick a favourite.
I strongly recommend this album and dare you to dislike any one of these songs. For Bellion, a bright future surely beckons.
