"Destroy Rock & Roll" is the second single from Scottish producer Mylo's eponymous debut album. Mylo's brought a breath of fresh air into the static dance scene with this album, and this single clearly showcases his innovative efforts. He's taken a speech by a religious organisation's frontman who declared that rock music is harmful to youth, and set it to electronic music. Weird, but brilliant.
Having already destroyed electronic music, Mylo now tries to ruin rock. To be honest, he's pretty much succeeded. Ten times worse than "Drop The Pressure", this track is unbearable. It's hard to tell if this is meant to be a song, or just plain monologue over boring music. Who exactly allowed this, and his album, to be released? Hopefully after this we won't be hearing much more from him.
