Britney Spears - Do Somethin'The second single from Britney's greatest hits collection, "Do Somethin'" is a track you either love or hate - there doesn't seem to be any middle ground. I for one hated it when I first heard it, but it didn't take long for my opinion to take a complete U-turn. I guess it's because it's such an unusual song, much in the vein of "Toxic", coupled with the fact that Britney doesn't really 'sing' much on it. However, it's the catchy chorus and the dark, unique, electro-pop sound that make this song stand out alongside her best releases.

Here we have a very poor, dull effort from Britney. Her vocals are weak and child-like, and it sounds like she's had a cigarette or two on this track. If Britney actually wants a good chart position, she'll have to do a lot better than this, as it pales into comparison with the other releases this week. After listening to her greatest hits for months now, I've always thought this was the worst track on the album by far. She could do with another track like "Toxic".
