Do Me Bad Things
Released: 28th March 2005.
Previous reviewers have waxed lyrical about Do Me Bad Things fusing everyone from Destiny's Child to Queens Of The Stone Age into the melting pot of sound that seeps from the very pores of this band's musical makeup (notwithstanding the lipgloss daubed on themselves). However, they've captured their influences perfectly in this sexy little number that should rock the dancehall doors off their hinges. Chugging guitar work, soulful voices, even a smooth break in the sound when it all gets too much, form the rich tapestry of this, their third single. The nine piece could be regarded as Britain's answer to the Scissor Sisters, but such lazy comparisons are insulting at best.
