Released: 14th May 2001.
This is Gerri's second album offering as a solo artist and I must say it's quite unique.
The first single released was the mega-hit, "It's Raining Men," followed by "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster," an up-beat song that could easily be sung by the Spice Girls sometime in the 90's.
"Circles Around The Moon," a personal favorite, is an addictive mid-tempo number. Other tracks include "Don't Call Me Baby," which isn't a cover of Madison Garden's hit, and "Lovey Dovey Stuff," a ballad, with a Reggae / R&B beat to it, in which Geri's voice comes out nice.
The get-up and dance, "Heaven And Hell (Being Geri Halliwell)," is all about being a celebrity these days and looks like a possible next single.
What's shocking on this album is the choice of the lyrics on tracks such as "Shake Your Bootie Cutie" and "Feels Like Sex." Joined by soulful ballads like "Calling" and "Love Is The Only Light" and the Latin-tinged, "Strength Of A Woman." the album brings a weird mixture of moods.
Miss Halliwell's second longplay's biggest advantage is probably the variety and a general feel-good atmosphere.
