"A Bond theme from Garbage": Worlds collide in that statement, but somehow it holds together. Shirley Manson sounds more like a 60s diva than her usual self, and the whole thing is pure Bond, but Garbage manage to give it something that recent Bond themes have lacked: heart. A great song and the best band. Go for it!
The theme tune to the film of the same name encompasses everything Bond, whilst keeping the distinctive sound that Garbage fans have come to know and love. However, I'm not sure if Garbage were the right choice for this track. In my opinion, a stronger vocalist would have worked better. It doesn't match up to Sheryl Crow's "Tomorrow Never Dies", and it's not really my taste, but it's a damn good effort.
