Here's the debut solo single from the Matchbox 20 frontman, lifted from his upcoming album "Something To Be". It doesn't sound that different to Matchbox 20's music - it's the kind of pop/rock song radio stations would hammer, so you know what it's going to sound like. Rob's distinctive voice delivers the song in style. With a fair share of radio airplay, this could turn out to be a big hit, just like it already has been in the US Billboard charts.

About the only thing this track has in common with a Matchbox 20 song is the singer - other than that, it's definitely a pop song. Rob gets to do the kind of thing that Matchbox 20 would never have got away with, and he pulls it off well. While it may have a fairly short shelf life before it gets overplayed, it's still a good song, and what will hopefully be the beginning of a long solo career for the frontman.
