Kaiser Chiefs - EmploymentFollowing the success of indie trendsetters Franz Ferdinand in 2004, the UK has set out to find an act to equal thier success in 2005, and Kaiser Chiefs may just be that band.

Championed by the NME magazine and other media sources, while challenged by other ring leaders Futureheads and Maximo Park, Kaiser Chiefs are riding high and, juding from "Employment", it is not difficult to understand why.

The LP follows the same winning formula as the two lead singles, "Oh My God" and "I Predict I Riot", ie. catchy, rambling verses, and mind-blowingly explosive choruses. Tracks such as "Saturday Night", "Everyday I Love You Less And Less" and "Born To Be A Dancer" highlight just how easy it comes for the Chiefs to write strong pop indie tunes.

Whilst it all gets a bit tiresome by the last few tracks, the majority of the album is immensly enjoyable.
