Charlotte Church - Crazy ChickCharlotte Church, once a sweet teenage soprano, has recently become better known for her tabloid appearances than for her musical talent, but that should change as she launches into the mainstream as a genuine superstar. The 19-year-old Welsh lass couldn't have asked for a better song as her first single. "Crazy Chick" is the perfect pop song, even though it doesn't have any real chorus - instead, the highly addictive verses melt into a mind-blowing, catchy hook to create an irresistible, Motown-influenced summer anthem. It wouldn't be fair to credit this excellent result on the song itself though - Charlotte's huge voice and personality is what largely builds up "Crazy Chick". Will she be No. 1 with this track? Well, she undoubtedly deserves to be.

From classical to pop, Charlotte Church has made the transition well, with this feisty, jazzy number which will most definitely be a song of the summer. Her voice is very strong as expected, while the lyrics and tune are very catchy. Ultimately a song that makes you want to dance uncontrollably, as well as being easy to sing along with. The lead up to the chorus is instantly memorable, and it's no wonder this song is tipped for big things. Can Charlotte make a career in pop? Going on this first effort it seems so.
