Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want ToScotland's finest, Alex, Nick, Bob and Paul - best known to us as Franz Ferdinand - return after a relatively short break from the public eye with "Do You Want To", possibly their catchiest single to date. Starting off in the vein of previous hit "Take Me Out", "Do You Want To" soon builds into a massive, synth-pop heavy track full of repetitive lyrics and storming guitars. With its infectious chanting of "You're so lucky, you're lucky, lucky" and a hilarious video to match, this could earn the band their first No. 1, as well as making their forthcoming second album, "You Could Have It So Much Better", a success.

The 2004 Mercury Music Prize winners are back, with a song that shows some progression from their earlier material, but perhaps not enough. That's not to say that their formula isn't working; "Do You Want To" is distinctive, performed well and sticks in your head.
