Well I certainly didn't see this one coming. Katie Melua is finally back with another single after about a year of absence, and she's gone oriental! Not that that's by any means bad mind you - the new sound gives her much more originality than your typical jazz artist as well as an edge over the rest. A brilliant comeback from a brilliant artist.

Katie Melua should by now be known to many as she had huge success with her 2003 album "Call Off The Search". "Nine Million Bicycles" is a lovely ballad that shows how different Katie really is to all the other acts out there. The song trods along with her remarkable vocals, while the lyrics tell the story of a love. Definitely a grower.
