After the No. 12 placing of "I Wish", R Kelly goes back to what he does best - powerful, emotion-filled ballads. "The Storm Is Over Now" is a gospel number that really makes you feel good. It picks up where "I Believe I Can Fly" and "If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time" left off. Undoubtedly the standout track on "", it should do very well.

Robert Kelly returns to the winning formula of "I Believe I Can Fly" for his second single from "". Although this single is one of the standout tracks, like the rest of the album "The Storm Is Over Now" lacks any real originality, and offers nothing that we have not already heard from Mr Kelly. I get the impression it was chosen as the 'safe' single to release, so it may do quite well, but don't expect a huge hit. Still, it's not bad.
