For his latest album, "All That I Am", Carlos Santana once again uses his winning formula. Mix some good Latin-flavoured Spanish tracks, often sung by Santana's band member Andy Vargas, with some English songs featuring some of the biggest names in the music scene.
Having collaborated with Wyclef, Rob Thomas, Lauryn Hill, Dido, Seal and Chad Kroeger on the previous two albums, it is once again up to some of the most distinctive voices in the music business to grace Santana's songs.
Personal favourites include the current single "Just Feel Better", featuring Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, and "Cry Baby Cry", which sees Joss Stone teaming up with Sean Paul - an unlikely combination working surprisingly well.
Other standout appearances include Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas on the catchy uptempo "I Am Somebody", Mary J. Blige's stunning vocals on "My Man", which also features Big Boi, and then there's the rather unknown Los Lonely Boys who can be heard on "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love", sounding like a multi-harmony version of Ricky Martin.
"All That I Am" presents itself as a very summery and cheerful album, with nearly all of the guest-vocals tracks as possible singles.
