Babyshambles - AlbionOnce in a while, a band comes along that manages to take the whole indie nation under its watchful eye. Babyshambles are that band of the moment, albeit for all the wrong reasons. Whilst they're not entirely reliable, and they've had a crash-course in media coverage, there is no denying that "Albion" is a small piece of pop-indie perfection. With Pete Doherty suddenly remembering how to sing, and his songwriting actually making sense, we see a rare moment of sensitivity, which may make the public see him in a different light. Unfortunately, most people seem to have written him off as a smack-head who can't see his head from his tail, which may bring this modern masterpiece down.
