It seems the phrase "difficult second album" was made for this occasion. "Permission To Land" was so gutsy and original that following it up was always going to be a nightmare of a task. So, have the boys managed to work the same magic a second time, or have they *shock horror* changed style? Alternatively, has the magic totally worn off?
The first thing that's clear from the first track is that the Darkness have absolutely no plans to go more credible and change their style. This is Darkness rock in the same vein as their previous work
