Brandy And Ray J
Released: 4th June 2001.
The first track to be released from the forthcoming Phil Collins tribute album "Urban Renewal" unites young diva Brandy with brother, and newcomer on the scene, Ray J. Everyone will no doubt recognise the classic hook and singalong chorus; this, combined with with the soulful warblings of the talented siblings and the fresh R&B production make it a sure-fire hit. In fact, without Mr Collins' vocals over the top, this is better than the original!
Taken from the forthcoming Phil Collins tribute album "Urban Renewal", this is a great cover of a great song. This is the second time this track has been remade and I think it's almost as good as the original, with a message as relevant in 2001 as it was in the late 80s. Brandy sings the track with real feeling, and relative newcomer Ray J has a fine voice. Expect more great singles from the "Urban Renewal" album.
