Mariah Carey - LoverboyCan Mariah get any better than this? "Loverboy" is a perfect, seamless R&B track with all the hallmarks that made her successful. However, you can't help but wonder if Mariah's similar formula can survive the 21st century that long. In the meantime though, this should be another Top 10 hit that will enlighten the charts.

Once a fresh, talented singer, the diva seems to have lost the touch that made her famous. Mariah's new single, from the soundtrack to her first ever movie, can be classed as poor R&B drivel; the kind of song which Destiny's Child and Janet Jackson would turn their noses up at. Appalling lyrics and that irritating breathy voice she does cannot compare to past efforts. Even the high pitched warbling is getting annoying, and lets not mention her current image!
