"What It Feels Like for a Girl" is her best song here!

Cyberraga should have been included on all editions of the album (after What It Feels Like... and before Paradise), and Liquid Love too (after Impressive Instant and before Runaway Lover).

Great album. Sonically it contains some of her most outstanding music.

This album should have included more songs and more singles should have been released. It's probably Madonna's most overlooked album, and that's unfair 'cos it's really good.
My faves are: Impressive Instant, Amazing, Nobody's Perfect, Don't Tell Me, WIFLFAG, Paradise and Gone

Probably yes. It's unfortunate, because it's a really good album.

Great album and a good follow on from Ray of Light. There was such a buzz a round the release of this and the single Music.

There should have been more singles...would have lived to see Impressive Instant, Amazing (Beautiful Stranger's sister song), Gone as a single.

This is my favorite album by Madonna, perfect pop record. "Music" and "Don't tell me" were stunning singles while "Impressive instant", "I deserve it", "Amazing", "What it feels like for a girl (album version)", "Paradise (not for me)" and "Gone" are among my favorites. I also liked a lot her controversial and much disliked cover of "American Pie" which served as a bonus track for the international editions of the album.

The album was successful and acclaimed but lived and will live forever under the shadow of "Ray of light".

I liked DOn't tell me when it was single but now i;m mad it was single, not to mention WIFLFA which is one of my least favorite M singles

But album is really strong and in top 5 for me

    Paradise is amazing

One of her best albums - it's a shame it's so short. Perfect example of an artist vs the label too.

Music as a song bores me, but I absolutely love it live. It's almost like the album track doesn't have enough energy, but it's amazing in all its live guises!

By the way I got a lot of those outtakes titles from a Madonna blogspot site which has a supposed list of everything she's known to have recorded. I can't find any information about some of the titles anywhere, though; does anyone know anything about them?

"Paradise (Not For Me)" is one of Madonna's career's biggest masterpieces.
"Music", "Impressive Instant", "Runaway Lover", "Gone" and "Nobody's Perfect" are also fabulous.
Then we have some average tracks such as "Don't Tell Me", "I Deserve It" and "Amazing".

... and a big rubbish that spoils the whole record, namely "What It Feels Like For A Girl"
How could they include such a terrible song and then make it a single??? At least a nice remix replaced the awful original.

Whaaat??? "What It Feels Like For A Girl" is an EPIC track. One of her best!
I love all of the songs on this album but Paradise is my #1

For me What it feels like for a girl is one of the best songs she's ever done ^^

Don't Tell Me being labelled as an average track is not okay.

A very good pop record. Not one of her best though.

Impressive Instant should've been a single instead of what it feels like for a girl! Loving Paradise as well.
The title track became one of her classic hits even though I don't particularly like it. Moreover, I adore her version of American Pie! Shane it didn't have a commercial release in the states nor was included on the album.

Don't Tell Me was a perfect choice for a second single

I don't think I would have chosen it as the second single. I remember most people being quite surprised when it was announced. It's one of the best tracks and I'm really glad it was a big hit but it was a strange choice.

Nichu, I like her cover of American Pie too. I like Orbit's production on the song.

"American Pie" is underrated, it's actually a great remake. I don't understand her hate towards it. :-? :-?
