i'm listening to someday right now.. and i have to say that i have always like the song. Mariah only did like 10 uptempo songs in her career and Someday is one of them. Mariah hasn't released an uptempo song since the Glitter album.. Songs that we may perceive as uptempo post 2001 actually are midtempo songs per definition like ILT. Her first two albums account for 99% of her uptempos...

It is kind of frustrating.
YDKWTD is an uptempo

It would be amazing to have a greatest hits from her that covers all her studio albums. She really has a very strong discography!

Good concept!!! But disc 1 seems so much stronger
Life is anything but dull,at any corner there is something or someone waiting...
Not a bad tracklisting, but I'd change some tracks.
I wouldn't be opposed to a rarities / b-sides album after this one. Why not capitalise on old music before coming back with something new that's really good? There's nothing to lose with such compilations.

There's 14 top 20 hits (6 #1s) on disc 2. It ain't exactly weak
To avoid any upset, please note; anything I post is purely my opinion. If I feel it is a fact, I will state that I feel it is a fact. Lol.

Exactly! I feel like they are overly obsessed with her #1's record, considering she has many other great hits!
Mariah Carey Unveils Greatest Hits album #1 To Infinity Tracklisting, Artwork
The superstar will release her new retrospective in the UK next month. By Rob Copsey
Mariah Carey has unveiled the artwork and tracklisting for her new greatest hits album #1 To Infinity. The singer will release a new retrospective in the UK on May 18 via Epic/Columbia/Sony Legacy to coincide with her Las Vegas residency at Caesers Palace, which kicks off on May 6. The collection will be preceded by brand new single Infinity on April 27. The music video accompanying the song will be directed by longtime collaborator Brett Ratner.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be back together again with Mariah,” CEO of Epic Records LA Reid said. “There is really no one who comes close to Mariah as both a songwriter and a singer, and as the world knows, her vocal range is legendary and truly incomparable. "Her music is indelibly etched into our culture, and she’s shattered so many chart records that she’s now firmly entrenched in the history books. With a fierce and loyal fan base that covers every corner of the globe, I have no doubt Mariah will do it again."
The star's last album Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse was released last year and peaked at Number 3 in the US and 14 in the UK.

^ I'm glad I pre-ordered it off her website tbh - I'd much rather have Someday, IDWC and TGIFY instead of Endless Love, Without You and Against All Odds.
It makes sense for the international version to have singles that went to #1 in each country over others that weren't singles / didn't chart.
I Don't Wanna Cry wasn't a single here in the UK so it makes snese to replace it and Endless Love is her highest charting single (other than All I Want For Christmas Is You) not already on the album, which is why they will have gone with that one. After that, Open Arms, It's Like That, and When You Believe all came in at #4 so they'd have to choose one of the three.
This photo from the shoot would've been better from the cover. The awkward arm is better than embarrassing from head to toe.
I'm curious to find out if there will be a separate Japanese edition. They always sneak in "All I Want for Christmas is you" in their Mariah compilations.
A perfect international edition would be like this:
1. Vision of Love (#1, US)
2. Love Takes Time (#1, US)
3. Emotions (#1, US)
4. I’ll Be There (feat. Trey Lorenz) (#1, US)
5. Dreamlover (#1, US)
6. Hero (#1, US)
7. Without You (#1, UK)
8. Fantasy (#1, US)
9. One Sweet Day (with Boyz II Men) (#1, US)
10. Always Be My Baby (#1, US)
11. Honey (#1, US)
12. My All (#1, US)
13. Heartbreaker (feat. Jay-Z) (#1, US)
14. Thank God I Found You (feat. Joe & 98 Degrees) (#1, US)
15. Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now) (with Westlife) (#1, UK)
16. We Belong Together (#1, US)
17. Don’t Forget About Us (#1, US)
18. Touch My Body (#1, US)
19. Infinity (Previously Unreleased)
