Tickets in Europe aren't that expensive compared to the US and Asia, but that goes for pretty much every artist. And yes it is true that in terms of €, this outgrossed the Circus Tour show.

    Piece Of Me Tour: €1,195,604
The Circus Starring Britney Spears: €1,156,147
    The Femme Fatale Tour: €638,881
    The Onyx Hotel Tour: €481,650

If I'm not wrong, UK shows were pretty expensive! Paris too.

Because the tour is in europe, may be compare its price, revenue, average in euro term will get better view.

Even in UK got more price, it’s probably got less than Circus, because of above reason. ;)

Judging by the FFT Boxscore and its price average posted on the previous page I almost had a laugh to find out tickets were more expensive (in $) back in 2011 (7 years ago) than they were with this current tour. . . . That probably explains why the FFT struggled to sell out most dates, its not that there wasn't enough demand for her in the market at that time its just that her team and company totally overestimated her "value" as a performer ridiculously overpricing her FFT tickets causing as a result several non-sellouts.

This "Piece Of Me" tour instead was planned and priced coherently, everyone involved from her label to her touring company did a great job with booking and handling her demand in Europe bringing her sold out and big crowds.

No, it’s not. Please look at exchange rate, and you will get average ticket price like this
    FF: 69.52 euro
    POM: 71.22 euro
POM got more expensive average ticket price but this year Euro currency was depreciated. (lower value compare to Dollar)

For Britney rate I think it’s normal, she’s not Taylor Swift or Adele but compare to other 99% artist, this price is normal and not low at all (considering low production and residency reuse)

Britney Spears - Box Office History (Belgium)

    08/15/18 - Belgium - $1,399,873 / €1,195,604 (16,787) - $83.39 / €71.22
    10/08/11 - Belgium - $862,854 / €638,881 (9,323) - $92.55 / €68.52
    07/08/09 - Belgium - $1,628,583 / €1,156,147 (15,842) - $102.80 / €72.97
    05/29/04 - Belgium - $585,927 / €481,650 (12,500) - $46.87 / €38.53
    10/18/00 - Belgium - $359,714 / (no equivalent as € wasn't currency) (13,950) - $25.78

She's never commanded a particularly high ticket price in Belgium, so actually - there's nothing to be surprised about here. It's relative to what she asked for in 2009 without taking into consideration the decline of the €.

In 2009, €1 would get you $1.43; in 2018, €1 would get you around $1.15 - a decline of around 19%. If you increase the average $ ticket price by around 19% here, you'd be looking at around $99 (which would be similar to the 2009 concert).

If we compare her tour in europe maybe use euro currency will be better but if we want to compare with other artists who tour in Europe this year, any currency won’t be different (you can use both Dollar and Euro).

Currency value has changed from time to time, be careful to compare this. ;)

It won’t work like that because she cannot set price by her own (it’s base on her popularity at that time), and people in Belgium will pay ticket for Britney at this price (she’s not huge here as you know).

Btw, inflation rate got increased year by year but the ticket price won’t change much, the ticket price 100$ in 2000 equal 147$ in 2018.

And use your logical that mean everyone should increase price 47% compare in 2000 to secure the same revenue but in the real world only some artists can do that.

Or we must devide by 1.47 and see the real revenue in 2000???

I know Wayne you want to tell Britney got less but I want to explain it’s not if you see euro currency . But if you want to compare other factors, it called inflation and everything we discussed will be out of topic. Please see only one factor.

Here's "Piece Of Me" Tour compared to other females in Belgium at the same venue this year.

    Britney Spears
    Sportpaleis
    August 15, 2018
    Antwerps, Belgium
    $1,399,873
    16,787 / 16,787 (100%)
    42.00 - 100.00

    Katy Perry
    May 24, 2018
    Antwerps Sportpaleis, Merksem, BELGIUM
    $1,255,551
    15,025 / 21,172 (70%)
    40.00 - 120.00

    Lady Gaga
    Sportpaleis
    Antwerp, Belgium
    Jan. 22, 2018
    $1,435,452
    15,533 / 15,533 (100%)
    $134.87, $49.04

    ---

After you divide the amount grossed by the attendance:

Gaga had a 92$ ticket rate
Britney had a 83$ ticket rate
Katy had a 83$ ticket rate

Gaga and Britney were 100% sold out, Katy was 70% Sold out (but she put way more tickets on sale)

Britney drew the biggest attendance out of the 3.

You're being too complicated about it, I'm not talking about inflation or buying power - if you get into the issue of inflation and buying power, it becomes too complex and you'll end up with a thesis.

Just take it from a currency point of view, it doesn't do her a disservice.

I was hoping for $10 million and 100,000 tickets in the UK but Birmingham (or maybe Blackpool too) won't let that happen.

I suppose it all depends how many tickets they put on sale at the 02 arena and Manchester arena, they can both hold 20k, but they might have only had 15k on sale to buy, so it’s really hard to tell

I noticed Belgium she sold nearly 17k tickets, so I’m hoping each London date did 17k and Manchester 17k that comes to 68k, but the other venues were a lot smaller, so probably around 80k, but if you do include Brighton which we know was 57k your looking at roughly 137,000 tickets

It's not going to happen. UK dates had seats and not standing tickets. They put 15k +/- for each London show and 13.5-13.8k for Manchester.

Probably, we'll have: Scarboro 7.5k, Manchester 13.5k, Glasgow 11.5k, London 43-45k, Birmingham 8k and I have no idea what I can supose for the Blackpool date but I'm hoping for more than 15k.

Well the Blackpool gazette said 20,000 people went, so we know 57k went to Brighton so your still looking at 100k who saw piece of me tour

^ Thanks for the update @Instinct

As of June 16, 2018 (almost 3 months ago) the “Make Me” remixes had over 4,7 million streams on Spotify

The remixes data is old though .... so “Make Me” might have crossed 100million combined streams on Spotify by now
