Funny how you’re calling people delusional yet you’re claiming that Burlesque sold more than Femme Fatale when it didn’t

    Chartmasters:

    Pure sales:

    Femme Fatale - 1,7million
Burlesque - 1,3million (mostly thanks to Cher)

    CSPC units

    Femme Fatale - 4,3million
    Burlesque - 1,8million

    --

Xtina never had a bigger era than "Femme Fatale" in this decade, that's why she failed to make the Billboard's Top 100 artists of the decade list.

Why are 2 fan bases arguing? We discuss each artist in separate threads? There is no comparison between Britney and Christina, they both have strong and negative points, who cares, FF sold 1.7 million pure and it don’t need to be compared to another artist, just stick to Britney, Christina fans can gtfo and stop being desperate

This is Britney’s thread. What are Cristina fans doing in here? Is her thread that boring? Bye.

You've been a member for six years... you know what they're doing, you've been banned for trolling yourself so just report them and go instead of adding fuel to the fire..."(mostly thanks to Cher)" is objectively false and just gives em an opportunity to keep it up

This is off topic but I think that Burlesque‘s success was neither Xtina‘s nor Cher‘s impact. It just was a good movie with good music so people bought the album lol. And it’s constantly returning to the iTunes charts after re-runs.

So basically you saying Whitneys Bodyguard is only a success because of the movie?

Other than Mariah there are many artists with Christmas songs: Michael Bublé, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Ariana Grande, Destiny's Child, Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue, Josh Groban, Kelly Clarkson, Madonna, etc, etc, etc

How is this doing (daily) compared to other Pop Christmas songs?

I think "My Only Wish" is doing better than all of them except Ariana Grande, Michael Bublé and Justin Bieber. Overall, it is the 5th most streamed Christmas song by a female artist on Spotify.

    1. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You - 520,359,856
    2. Ariana Grande - Santa Tell Me - 260,690,084
    3. Brenda Lee - Rockin Around The Christmas Tree - 184,649,963
    4. Michael Bublé - White Christmas (ft. Shania Twain) - 103,770,158
    5. Britney Spears - My Only Wish (This Year) - 94,309,848

But surprisingly enough, "My Only Wish" is actually getting better recurrent streams than "White Christmas", so it'll overtake it soon.

    Streams since September 10, 2019
"My Only Wish (This Year)" - 2,750,811
    "White Christmas" - 2,516,212

Some of her peers, such as Christina Aguilera, Destiny's Child and NSYNC, have released full length Christmas albums but "My Only Wish" gets more daily streams than all of them as a whole.

Thanks @Instinct what about the likes of Kelly Clarkson or Celine Dion christmas songs?

I find it surprising that Britney's christmas song is getting so famous considering it was never released as a single, it was just a little random album track she did for a christmas compilation album.

Weirdly enough, Christmas songs by Celine aren't that popular on Spotify. The biggest one is "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" at 50,054,356 streams.

Kelly's biggest song "Underneath the Tree" *just* surpassed "My Only Wish", so let me update that list. Still, you would expect it to have a much bigger lead, considering it came out 6 years ago and even charted on the Hot 100 at #44.

    5. Kelly Clarkson - Underneath the Tree - 96,488,629
    6. Britney Spears - My Only Wish (This Year) - 94,309,848

"My Only Wish" will jump back to #5, overtaking "White Christmas" And yeah, I'm very surprised by its success, too. How did it become so popular?

Well, considering Michael Bublé is a guy we can say "My Only Wish" is already #5 among females.

But it features Shaina Twain, so technically it is also her song, so that would be correct

But that’s not a female song, that’s a collaboration / duet, not to mention Shania isn’t even the lead.

Unless you consider “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper a female song suitable for female categories on award shows and not for the group / duo / collabs categories.

Yeah you're right. "My Only Wish (This Year)" got 168,258 streams yesterday while the 11 songs on "My Kind of Christmas" got a combined total of 177,836. My bad.
