With Disturbia, DSTM and PDR being Rih's Top 3, with 8/10 being the best Rih can do and with Drunk In Love being the gold standard. Those are some very unfortunate picks imo.
It's of course subjective and a matter of individual taste, but I feel like Rihanna has yet to release that song that leaves me speechless. She has quite a few songs in the 6/10 and 7/10 area and I feel like she hasn't reached her potential yet. If you ask me, 'Drunk In Love' is Beyoncé's best song and a rare example of 10/10 simply because everything fits. Despite being longer than 5 minutes, it fails to get boring at any point. The song's production is top notch, especially the build-up from the calm arabic intro to the trap-esque 2nd verse. The lyrics are iconic and the rap part actually adds something to the song (and I'm really picky when it comes to rap performances). By the time the 4th verse sets in, Beyoncé picks up the melody of the 1st verse again and the song's 'circle' kind of seems complete.

This was all the way back when she was first starting the business...
After serving every single note flawlessly for 3 minutes, at the 3:05 mark (right after killing the legendary belts/high notes of her first ever song) she can't help but smiling with so much happiness.

I don't know if this is her first live performance tbh, but it's surely one of the very first ones. Watching this talented woman, when she was this young and amateur, getting so happy after a crowd's excitement just made my day tbh. And I just wanted to share.

IMO a typical case of "OMG she's so inspirational cause she says what she thinks, she's so funny because she's rude and doesn't care.." 1 year later people are tired of that and moved on.
Admittedly I don't know much about rap music, but I never saw any outstanding talent in her. The only thing I saw was an annoying mess of a person.

It's amazing to witness the force that she is, the number of people she brings together through her music is astounding.
I think her new songs suck, she hasn't released anything noteworthy since "A new day.." with the exception of a song here and there.
It clearly doesn't matter though, people will want to see her anyways.
