Gross is very low for such a great turnout. I know that the economy in Argentina is totally screwed, so the promoter decided to go for price level two through out the whole sales period. Normally prices increases four times.

although they played in a small number of Latin American markets they achieved a total attendance of 269,399 people. 3rd highest number behind Somewhere back in time which had 2 legs (649,546) and Book of souls (294,038)

And with Australia/Asia and a European stadium tour looming, they will probably beat the end results of The Book of Souls Tour, which did 1,471,000 tickets in total.

I'm guessing around 40 gigs in total and probably 5 to 10 of them being festivals.

Roughly 600,000 tickets will be put on sale for the headline shows of the 2020 dates.

The band start to understand the concept of smart booking in some markets lol. Far from perfect, imo they can attract more than 2.5m people on a single tour, but some improvement clearly

Yeah, but there are some oddballs on this tour. I can't understand how why they chose to return to Berlin for a second time on the same tour, when the previous show sold relatively poorly. Only 15,757 of 22 k. What makes it even weirder is that it stands next to three other mega-shows in Germany - their biggest yet. Also a return to Prague and Lisboa seem very ambitious. But then again, it's probably down to local promoters throwing money at them. They have a good momentum at the moment, so it's going to be exciting to see how the sales will pan out.

I'm baffled that they chose to go back to Graspop on the same tour, Belgium could very well be one of their strongest markets at the moment and they would have a good chance of actually packing a stadium relatively quickly.

Yes you showed good examples here. Berlin, prague are really questionnable. They could have played other german cities + slovakia and hungary instead. Make real tour of france, the largest european country, instead of constantly booking Paris. Playing arenas or mid size stadiums in scandinavia where they lost popularity since their peak in 2008. And yes in belgium they could easily draw 25k - 30k people.

And with time Cologne will sell out too. Probably 5 - 6,000 tickets left for that one. Bremen has already been sold out on MyTicket once. This is a 30 k venue. And we're only two weeks into general sale.

Paris is more or less sold out. 1000 standing left on the day of general sale. Prague is almost sold out too, only standing in the back left. Ullevi is also selling way faster than in 2011 and 2016. Seating is close to sold out.

Looks like it has paid off to step up the game. This tour will most likely sell around 1,750,000 tickets. Somewhere Back in Time did 1,490,000, TBOS Tour did 1,470,000.

Just another evidence how the mainstream music industry ignores IM in the States - so same sine the '80s.

And the next issue: so, where's RAMMSTEIN? 2019: Europa Stadium Tour, 30+ individual shows on the big stadiums, over 1 mln tix sold in minutes, well over 60 mln USD gross and... even not in TOP 40 at all!

The next one: In Metallica's case they just added Oceania's shows income - which (as we know) were cancelled...

    Where is Phil Collins?

45 shows in N. Am/EU/Oceania - over 100 mln USD and over 1 mln people...

No Bon Jovi, Muse... This report sucks!
