Drake finally releases the Hotline Bling video...

So the #1 it's a big posibility, the only fact who can go against him, it's that the video it's only avaiable on itunes Music for the moment, but, it was released about a hour ago..maybe they will put it on VEVO tomorrow.

As Hotline Bling is still a "non-album" release I will post here the info rather than in the "If you're reading this it's too late" thread.

    YouTube
    Hotline Bling: 10,692,000

Looks like although the Apple window the video is doing a great job on YouTube. It won't be #1 but it could be his biggest hit to date

    The Netherlands Top 100

    8 [27] - Hotline Bling (9 weeks, new peak)

That's Drake's highest-charting single ever here, and first top ten, beating Hold On We're Going Home (#12).

I never imagined HB doing this much when it was first released. I thought it'd be another urban hit and hit with his hardcore base. Certainly didn't think it'd crossover or be internationally successful!
I was waiting for Bey to drop so she could show that T&A arent the only ones smashing album SALES!!!

if it wasn't for Adele this will be #1 for sure.

I have the feeling this will be several weeks on #2, Still increasing the airplay, digital and now the streaming.

He already has +40M in one week even with the Apple exclusive during its first week. I really think this could be his biggest hit to date. Atm Started From The Bottom has 201,244,282 views on his Vevo account, Hotline Bling should crash that number soon

I've been tweeting about Drake's Take Care being eligible for 2xP with the RIAA for about 2 years now. UGH

    @Drake @YoungMoneySite @RepublicRecords "Take Care" has sold 2,282,000 copies in USA. Should be certified 2 times #Platinum w/ #RIAA

    and...

@Drake @1future "What A Time To Be Alive" has sold 460,000 albums. Ask the labels to certify it #Gold with #RIAA

Drake's 'Views From The 6': Tweet Hints at Release Date
By Adelle Platon | November 13, 2015 9:55 AM EST

Drake’s highly anticipated album Views From The 6 could be ringing in the new year.

According to a mysterious teaser posted on the Daily Rap’s Twitter account, Views might be hitting the Internet on Jan. 6, 2016.

The project would follow a banner year for the Toronto rep, whose surprise joint album with Future, What A Time To Be Alive, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its Sept. 20 release.

He told the Fader that month that Views marks a salute to his city and that he was logging studio time with longtime collaborator, Noah “40” Shebib.

"We’ve grown a lot over the years,” he said of 40 in the interview. "He used to be the guy that would track me in hotel rooms at 4 a.m. And now he is not that guy — I have another guy that does that ... If I want to make the album I want to make, I have to go find him. I have to go sit with him, and we have to really put in effort."

The rapper -- real name Aubrey Graham -- also dropped If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late in February, another out-of-nowhere release that became the first million-selling album of 2015.

Definitely "Hotline Bling" will be his biggest solo hit, overall only "What's My Name" seems to remain bigger.

OVERALL - Hotline Bling/What's My Name:
    - Digital sales: US: 1,2M & UK: 200k/ US: 3M & UK: 800k*
    - Streaming: 183,640,643/59,433,995**
    - YouTube: 107,609,169/484,368,778

    SOLO***
    YouTube:
#1 Started From The Bottom: 206,027,787
#2 Take Care (feat. Rihanna): 162,793,549
    #3 Hotline Bling: 107,609,169

    Spotify:
    #1 Hold On, We're Going Home: 219,821,743
    #2 Hotline Bling: 183,640,643
    #3 Take Care: 108,284,735

*I can't find the worldwide numbers updated to 2015
**You know, at that point Spotify was small and "What's My Name" numbers reflects it.
***I mean music from his own albums, not a collab from other artist album, the "solo" part is not literally
