Cranberries - All Over Now - very prophetic sort of lyrics to an almost frightening effect
Dandy Warhols - Motor City Steel - I enjoyed this for one hot minute, but it's not really good
Cass McCombs - The Great Pixley Train Robbery - this is an attempt at psych folk, a formidable one
Altitudes & Attitude - Part Of Me - heard this during the week, not too sticky, but I'll let it slide
International Teachers Of Pop - The Ballad Of Remedy Nilsson - cute lo-fi synthpop
Kate Nash - Trash - one minute too long
OOMPH! - Tausend Mann Und Ein Befehl - it's their Neue Deutsche Harte trademark sound, done with as much attitude as they had at their commercial peak
Keuning - Boat Accident - the first few notes intrigued me and then it went mainstream, not bad at all
Kookaburra - Psychomind Girl - heard this just the other day, really enjoyed the guitar-based lo-fi punk sound, the music video gets my thumbs up as well

KOPPS - Virtual Reality - enjoyed this much more after repeated listens
Sofy Major - Shiny Happy Asshole - too promising for a songtitle
Jade Bird - I Get No Joy - it tries to be as catchy as possible, which is a bit annoying

Ok, did everything as shown in the BB Code and nothing.

    Those 2 dead videos are:

    Calicoco - Anchor Park

    and

    Estrons - Strangers

Calicoco - Anchor Park - reminded me that I need to chart all my previously liked videos in my personal chart
Feet - English Weather - a bit all over the place, but the chorus is cute
Simple Creatures - Drug - something very radio-friendly
Foals - Exits - it's not bad, but I quickly got over it
Lucy Arnell - SMS - good old lo-fi
Stephen Malkmus - Viktor Borgia - why so many dislikes on yt, I don't get it
Anteros - Drive On - also would have suited perfectly for the airwaves of the yesteryear
Nanami Ozone - The Art Of Sleeping In - guitar noises give me life in this particular one, the tempo also suits the vocal
Hello Yello - Sins - I like the verses, chorus is slightly underwhelming
Heavy Rapids - Going Down - punk, raw and fierce

I got used to the old UKMix templates so much, I just can't learn anything new, this new version of UKMix is overwhelming to me so far

Hands Off Gretel's song is just great.

Empire Of The Sun - Chrysalis - it's disappointing
RY X - The Water - typical RY X kind of song
Eyesore & The Jinx - On An Island - love the punches, this song definitely has a message
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Cyboogie - they've done a great job with the photography and retro image in the music video
Kælan Mikla - Draumadís - just beautiful
Theophilus London feat. Tame Impala - Whiplash - there's something
Cage The Elephant - Ready To Let Go - going harder this time
Absent Fathers - The Vanishing - primitive roots, back to the garage

Hands Off Gretel looks like posers, but plays cool grunge.

Chrysalis is previously unreleased 10 years old song. not surprised that you don't like.

Glad to be seeing some band names I know & will learn more!
Saw The Dandy Warhols mentioned. These are from release January 2019.

    <font size="2"><span style="color:#000080;">

I haven't heard the whole thing; some vids. are disabled in my country, so I can't really tell how it is. I did like 2016's "Distortland".

For Band of Angels fans, they have new release on April 12th - Here's 1 early release (the better of the 2 IMO, so far):

For anyone wishing to know how to include youtube clips, it's completely different on new UKMIX - no "tags" spelling out youtube, making it simple to locate. (I don't know if it's been added to text on the new site FYI yet, or not. It hadn't been as of late last week. Another member advised me how to do so, so "paying it forward"). Click on "insert video". Middle line of options, 3rd box from right, 1st icon on right. Click on it. Another page will open where you insert the video. Copy & paste. You insert entire line; https on. Hope information's helpful! (How are you including them just by underlining?)

I saw Cage the Elephant & clicked on it, which brought me right to the youtube page. I did see the video before, learning of it from somewhere else. It's not stirring me as much as older material. - I think it was a pretty brave costume choice for Matt Shultz (either brave or insane!) There's still the new Raconteurs-Yay!! Won't post vid. since there's thread for The Raconteurs & Sunday Driver's posted there.

Because posers usually play/sing shit. Fortunately, there are some exceptions.

AlmostGold, thanks for visiting. Though Dandy Warhols' glory days remained somewhere in the naughties, they still manage to release great stuff. And my all-time favourite track is We Used To Be Friends.

Wow, you put 3 videos in 1 post! That's cool. Old UKMix didn't allow to place more than 1 vid. Will try to make the same.

Band Of Skulls are great, they have tons of cool stuff, and Carnivorous is no exception.

    Ok, back to work.

Royal Trux - Year Of The Dog

    Ex Hex - Tough Enough

Prefab Messiahs - (Don't Give Up On) Beautiful Things

    Amazons - Mother

Old Firm Casuals - Get Out Of Our Way

Ibibio Sound Machine - Wanna Come Down

    Boy Harsher - Lost

    Well - Raven

    North Parade - Birmingham

Northern Light Exposure - Parting Shot

    Vintage Crop - Stock Options

Pedro The Lion - Quietest Friend / My Phoenix

    Hapax - Shinig Lover

    Le Butcherettes - Give/Up

    Ocean Party - Nothing Grows

Circa Waves - Me, Myself And Hollywood

    Lullwater - Empty Chamber

    Sass - Chew Toy

    Lucia - Blue Heart

    Fontaines D.C. - Big

Tyson Kelly - Running Away From You

Hey thanks, Undercover! I'm still really new, so I didn't know that before (old UKMIX) more than 2 couldn't be uploaded -

Heppolo - Have ya gotten how to upload youtube vids? Another member explained it to me & it Is completely different (I was here for about 2 weeks before the changeover to the new site-although half of that time I couldn't log-in). Under the thread "title" box, out of the next 3 lines of editing functions (white boxes), it's the middle one, 3rd from the right, the first logo (for video-no Youtube wrap). Click that; it brings up new box. Highlight, copy & paste entire (is it URL?) from http to end.

Hope that's helpful! (Please be so kind to give me stars...hahah for my "reputation"!)

Royal Trux - Year Of The Dog - some old school music mixed with spacey keyboard sounds, fun
    Lucia - Blue Heart
    - interesting, but I wanted something more
Marina - Handmade Heaven - good ballad, maybe not too memorable, but so soothing and pleasant
Sam Wilde - On The Run - that's good, like really good
Idlewild - Dream Variations - I love Idlewild, but that's not it
    Le Butcherettes - Give/Up - brilliant

I'm sorry, navi. Didn't have time for second listen to sift the list. In the end, what's the difference, 50 or 62 songs, it's too much. Don't understand what happened after the New Year, such a blast of new music. Probably the cost of musical instruments and equipment has declined strongly.
