A clear result as Get Lucky and JGMAR advance to the final.

We lose the third and final #1 of 2013 for Macklemore/Ryan Lewis as Cant Hold Us (ft. Ray Dalton) is out on 6pts. Can't Hold Us held the top position for one week in late March, between JGMAR's second stint at #1 and Passenger's Let Her Go.

The song was also the highest of their entries on the end of year top 25 singles list for 2013, at #9, below our two finalists sitting at #6 and #7.

And with a clear lead on 12-3, Get Lucky takes it out over Just Give Me A Reason.

JGMAR's run was bookended by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis; it ended Same Love's run in mid February for one week, before being interrupted momentarily by Harlem Shake, then reclaiming the top spot for a further three weeks until late March when Can't Hold Us took over.

It was Pink's second ARIA #1 from her The Truth About Love album (also #1 on the albums chart and topping the Top 25 Albums list for both 2012 and 2013); the first being Blow Me (One Last Kiss) (her first ARIA #1 single in Four years, since 2008's So What).

Nate Ruess also scored his first #1 (as a solo and featured artist) after snagging two #1's in 2012 with fun. (with We Are Young and Some Nights).

Our winner, Get Lucky, topped the chart for only one week in early May, between Let Her Go and Blurred Lines, the latter as aforementioned helping Pharrell Williams secure joint longest weeks at #1 for the year alongside Katy Perry. It didn't have an official clip perse, but a promotional video featuring Daft Punk, Pharrell and Niles Rodgers performing the song became popular.

It became Daft Punk's first ARIA #1 Single (and Album for Random Access Memories, topping the chart for 2 weeks), after coming within the top 20 previously with Around The World (#11), One More Time (#10) and the Discovery (#7) and Tron: Legacy ST (#17) albums;

It was also Pharrell's first ARIA #1 single as a featured artist (first as lead was Happy in 2014 alongside #1 album GIRL), which as mentioned he doubled up immediately with Blurred Lines. He had previously peaked at #4 as a feature in both Snoop Dogg tracks Beautiful (also ft. Charlie Wilson) and Drop It Like It's Hot.
