The Album Cup XII is coming!

I wanted to start this next month but apparently there is some desire to keep this going. Shout-out to Carbon and his great work with the two previous installments, which made legendary Janet and Yoko part of the hall of champions.

Nodding to my return as a host, we'll see artists previously featured in this game coming back to get their redemption!

For the first time, if you want to play this, you'll have to refer to the list I'll post below, pick one artist and nominate an album by them that's never been into contention. An artist that is not new, with an album that is new to the game (but released in any year) - clear?



There is an important twist in this game, which I borrow from the concept of Survivor: Redemption Island.

First, we'll relive the spirit of the first Cup, in which knockouts generated a lot of excitement and drama too. So since round 1 ( ) we'll see eliminations right away, based on the lowest-ranked albums). But here's the thing: the losers don't leave the competition. Instead, they go to the Redemption Jukebox, where they'll battle each other until round 7 - the highest-ranked album in this special vault returns to the official competition, along with the 3 official finalists. Three more rounds (also eliminating) and we'll find the champion.

Use the following list to select your artist, and send their album VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE to me. If there's any mistake or doubt, I'll hopefully be able to explain it to you. Once you've secured your artist, you can send me the playlist that will represent the album, consisting of 10 tracks preferrably with links. Remember this Cup is brutal so I recommend you to place strong tracks right in the beginning!

It's much better if you vote and actually take part. I don't like it when people are quick to nominate an album, forcing us to listen to it, but they don't actually play the game.
