@lambie this may be of interest to you. This was published by Billboard in November 2018. I am not sure if there were more updated figures released since then:

"The Ballads" has easily sold 400,000 units by now. And if it hasn't already, MCIIY will surpass 600k this December.

The Ballads was such a sleeper album for so long. It's easily going to sell gold in the US within the coming 2-3 years.

It has EASILY sold 1 million units worldwide, with its 2nd biggest market, The UK, standing at abover 220k. In Japan it has had sold 60k within the first 5 months of its release.

    My est. for shipments:

    420,000 - United States
    240,000 - United Kingdom
    90,000 - Japan
    40,000 - Brazil
    20,000 - Netherlands
    20,000 - France
    15,000 - Ireland
    15,000 - Australia
    10,000 - Germany
    10,000 - Italy
    5,000 - South Korea
    5,000 - Sweden

current total should be between 950,000-1,000,000...

    while #1 to Infinity:

    90,000 - United States
    75,000 - United Kingdom
    30,000 - Japan
    20,000 - Brazil
    10,000 - Australia
    5,000 - Germany
    4,000 - France
    4,000 - Italy
    4,000 - Netherlands
    3,000 - Switzerland
    3,000 - Spain
    3,000 - South Korea

That release remains between 250,000-275,000 copies shipped as of today.

Her compilation albums as a whole:

    1998 - 16,100,000 - #1's
    2001 - 4,500,000 - Greatest Hits
    2003 - 500,000 - The Remixes
    2008 - 1,000,000 - The Ballads
    2010 - 125,000 - Playlist: The Very Best Of
    2011 - 200,000 - The Essential
    2015 - 275,000 - #1 to Infinity
    2018 - 10,000 - Japan Best

That's a total of 22,710,000 in compilations sales (+6,500,000 for Unplugged). She shouldn't release any MORE of these things. They do not sell anymore and take away sales from the original albums. Out of all places her compilation album reach their best numbers in the UK (and still somewhat in Japan and Brazil).

Looking at re-current data and digital outlets, the only release which is currently selling something remains her GH album from 2001.

I have a question... if Obsessed is getting the most streams of all her songs on Spotify, consistently now, why is Spotify still showing it as #3?

Maybe they are using yearly averages... I don't think that it is a "live" chart / listing.
