Mariah was heavily predicted to win the last contest in 2014; she had won the 2012 contest and was more than 500 points clear of the runner up. What happened last time? She ranked #6.

She actually scores 59 points based on her top 20 placings - unfortunately though, she missed the top 20 in 2008 which means she hasn't placed top 20 in every countdown which is why she was excluded.

That said, she ranked #21 so wasn't too far off.
