A messy start on the women's side. Didn't expect anything less . Bouchard just won her first match though. Good for her.

Cracking final in Doha! Hopefully the first of many competitive finals between Murray and Djokovic.

Hopefully Roger will get back into his top form. Despite being largely in favour for Andy, a tiny part of me wants Roger to extend his GS tally

Novak is once again doing what he does best.
For him it seems harder to get through the first couple of rounds than playing in the SF or Finals.

Defending champ Djokovic is out. Didn't get past the second round. Well played Denis Istomin.

Murray and Kerber both out of the AO.

The women's field is wide open.

I'd love love love Serena to win but she has been erratic, especially at closing out big games and lost to Muguruza, Pliskova yet has Konta next in amazing form.

I'd love Rafa to win. Federer I wouldn't mind though.

I'm rooting for Muguruza on women's side. It feels like she found a second breath after slacking down since getting the crown in RG. I love her game. Nice technique.

On men's side I can't help but rooting for Roger. I just want him to win that one more after trying for so long! Nonetheless his level is very impressive for someone who has been on the side for that long.

    Well sorry to hear that.

I am elated, absolutely elated for Serena, Venus and Lucic.

What a slap in the face of naysayers so focused on age.

It is a strange feeling, a part of me wants something new but Serena and Venus are legends and I can't throw any shade at them

Looks like the Legends and the Oldies are giving it their best and maybe their one last shot at Grand Slam Final Glory.

I'm still rooting for Stan though, i like him more than Roger

A shame that i have to leave for work exactly when their game starts today. This could be one of the best matches in a long time for me personally

Great 5 sets of Tennis and the old boy came through. Roger Federer through to the Final. Now we just need Nadal to win tomorrow to set up the fairy tale.

It's been unreal. How great will it be if Nadal wins tomorrow?
