I didn't see this posted yet.

    https://www.grammy.com/grammys/news/...nounced-nov-28

Mark your calendars: The Recording Academy has set Tuesday, Nov. 28 as the date for the announcement of nominees for the 60th GRAMMY Awards. The milestone telecast will take place Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Additionally, The Academy has completed its annual review of awards rules and regulations, and established a series of new amendments to guide the GRAMMY Awards process moving forward.

These amendments, effective immediately, include implementing online voting for the GRAMMY Awards, recognizing songwriters in the Album Of The Year category and establishing Nominations Review Committees for the Rap, Contemporary Instrumental, and New Age Fields.

For the first time, all voting members will cast their GRAMMY Awards votes online rather than by paper ballot. This transition will provide the Recording Academy's more than 13,000 voting members greater access and flexibility than ever before, eliminate the possibility of invalid ballots and protect further against fraudulent voting.

Moving forward, all music creators (songwriters, producers, engineers, mixers, mastering engineers, featured artists) credited with at least 33 percent or more playing time on the winning album will be eligible to receive a GRAMMY for Album Of The Year. Previously, songwriters were not recognized in this category.

Nominations Review Committees will be created and implemented for the Rap, Contemporary Instrumental, and New Age Fields. A Nominations Review process was established in 1989 as an additional round of checks and balances to eliminate the potential for a popularity bias that puts emerging artists, independent music, and late-year releases at a disadvantage. Since then, Nominations Review Committees have been established across 15 GRAMMY Awards Fields.

The eligibility window for the 60th GRAMMYs is Oct. 1, 2016, through Sept. 30, 2017. The first-round ballot period will take place Oct. 16–29, 2017, with the final-round ballot period set for Dec. 7–21, 2017. GRAMMY101.com features a list of key dates and an overview of how the GRAMMY process works.

Grammy nominations are not hard to predict. Especially the general catgories

You only have to pay attention of what is big, usually there are not surprises.

    Album of the Year
: the 5 big albums, plus nearly every genre are represented

    Kendrick (rap)
    Ed Sheeran (pop)
    Bruno Mars (R&B)
    Metallica (Rock)
    Chris Stapleton (Country)

    Record of the year:

    Shape of You
    That´s what I like
    Believer

    I think that 3 are vey likely...then

    Humble/Bodak Yellow
    Despacito/Body like a back road/Attention

    Song of the year
: Here they can put songs not that big with a message

    Praying
    1-800-273-8255

And then the same of ROY:

    Shape of you
    Humble
    Believer.

GREIN ON GRAMMYS: SURPRISES ON THE GRAMMY BALLOT

    - Harry Styles submitted to Best Rock Album, as well as The Search for Everything (John Mayer), 57th and 9th (Sting), You Want It Darker (Leonard Cohen’s) and Like an Arrow (Blackberry Smoke)
    - 24k Magic (Bruno Mars), #Love Covers (Kirk Whalum) submitted to Best R&B Album
    - Evolve (Imagine Dragons), After Laughter (Paramore), Kaleidoscope EP (Coldplay), Woodstock ( Portugal. The Man), Remnants (LeAnn Rimes) submitted to Best Pop Vocal Album
    - The Nashville Sound (Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit ) submitted to Best Americana Album
    - Blue & Lonesome (The Rolling Stones ) submitted to Best Traditional Blues Album
    - Future (Future), All Things Work Together (Lecrae) submitted to Best Rap Album
    - HNDRXX (Future), Stoney (Post Malone), Beautiful Thugger Girls (Young Thug), There's Really a Wolf (Russ), Here (Alicia Keys) and Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 (Calvin) all submitted to Best Urban Contemporary Album, the latter instead of Dance/Electronic Album
    - Memories…Do Not Open (Chainsmokers), Johnny Mathis Sings the New American Songbook (Johnny Mathis) submitted to Best Pop Vocal Album
    - Humanz (Gorillaz) and American Dream (LCD Soundsystem) submitted to Best Alternative Music Album
    - Day Breaks (Norah Jones), Ballads (Paula Cole) and Bel Hommage (Patti LaBelle) are vying for a nom for Best Jazz Vocal Album
    - Sing It Now: Songs of Faith and Hope (Reba McEntire) is vying for a nom for Best Roots Gospel Album

Bell Biv Devoe’s Three Stripes is entered for both Best Pop Vocal Album and Best R&B Album. How is that possible? It isn’t. This was a Grammy goof. (There are tens of thousands of entries. You try putting them into categories without making a single goof!)

I am pissed as well. I hope none of them get nominated. That is just like them awarding MC Hammer in the r&b category.

    They should change the names.

    Best Contempoarary R&B Album
    Best Traditional R&B Album
