The first ever double shantay between Carmen and Yara was so unjustified. Carmen easily won, all Yara did was dance with a flag. Nearly every lip sync this season is so underwhelming.

Bobs funny yes. His drag just wasn't very good. His make up was questionable and so where a lot of the outfits. He got by on personality (that's not a bad thing. He won didn't he) I just don't think he's a very polished queenTurn the lights down low and kiss me in the dark

Of course they do. Neither of them are completely polished and have weaknesses (mostly when it comes to the runway although Shangie improved a lot) but all 3 are considered to be highly entertaining and funny and would put butts in seats at a drag show.Comment

Shangela has been doing drag for 5 months when she joined S2 cast. And S3 started filming about time she was doing it for a year or so. She was sooooo early in the art of drag and I actually think that no other contestant had a shorter drag resume than Shangela in those two seasons. And even some seasoned queens that do drag for years don't have great makeup skills.
That being said, yeah her makeup skills were really bad early on. No doubt about that. In that one episode in S2 she was completely out of her league. And the fact she improved so much for S3 mere months later (she snagged 2 wins and her standup act is still one if the best RPDR ever had) was an astonishing feat. If Ru brought her back for S4 instead of S3 she could've gone to the finale. That's how fast she was improving.Comment
