    ALL JAPAN POP 20

In April 1963 the radio chart "At the request of 95 million inhabitants" began. Hosted by Masao Kojima on Nippon Cultural Broadcasting radio station, the chart was determined by counting postcards sent weekly to the station. The most requested song was No. 1. The show ended in March 66.
After a one year break period, the chart returned in May 1967 under the new name "All Japan pop 20". It was from 1970 that the chart's ratings and influence skyrocketed under the direction of Norio Minorikawa, known as Mino Monta. This was the most widely broadcasted Japanese chart, covering the four main islands in the archipelago, lasting until 1985.
    This only concern "foreign acts".
