Chante Moore Pushes Back ‘Phoenix’ Release & Announces Christmas Album

Chante Moore’s upcoming album, ‘The Rise Of The Phoenix’ will now be available digitally on September 29th, 2017, while the physical copy of the album will be in-stores on October 13th.

Originally scheduled for a September 15th release, ‘The Rise Of The Phoenix’ is headed by the singles, ‘Real One,’ presently charting as the #6 Top R&B song in the country and ‘Something To Remember’.

In addition to the forthcoming album, Moore will be releasing her first-ever Christmas album, ‘Christmas Back To You’. The effort is set for a November 3rd release. She shared behind the scenes footage for the first single ‘Cover Me In Snow’ on her social media.

OMG I can't believe she is 50! She's so beautiful and doesn't age!

It looks great for a very simple video which I'm guessing she paid for out of her own pocket. This sounds like it could have been on the Rise of the Phoenix album, only with lyrics about Snow.

I find the "cover me in snow" lyric too repetitive. Already deleted this song from my playlist.

NY TIMES reviewed the album and featured Birthday on their christmas playlist alongside The Beatles and Fantasia
    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/29/arts ... music.html

Chanté Moore, a star of 1990s R&B, sounds robust on this album, but maybe not in the ways you expect. On some of the originals here — see the teasing “Cover Me in Snow” and the swaggering “Santa Don’t Sleigh” — Ms. Moore sings in the clipped syllables of Atlanta rap. And there is a very familiar sort of love song here as well: “Birthday,” which begins, “Even though it’s your birthday/you’re still working/it out for me.” But it isn’t just any dedicated partner on the receiving end of this sensuous ode: It’s Jesus. "Everyday's Like Christmas" is gaining airplay on Urban AC radio! It's currently #8 in the "Taking Off" section. Hopefully it can appear in the top 50

KJLH-FM in Los Angeles is playing it (where it's #31 on their chart) if you want to make requests
